FAQ
What is a session?
As part of your session, you’ll enjoy access to the banya facilities, including the banya for warming up, a plunge pool for cooling down (6–8°C), showers, and a table in the lounge area for you to enjoy alone or with friends.
As is typical for the banya, classic accessories are included in the price of your session: one pair of flip-flops, one towel, and one bath sheet. Traditional bath robes are also available to hire for a small fee.
We recommend you save the towel until the end of your visit to dry off. Please use the bath sheet to wrap yourself and to cover the bench before sitting or lying down in the banya for hygiene purposes.
If you require additional linen, there is a small extra charge:
Sheet – £3.00
Towel – £3.00
Robe – £5.00
Hats are available to buy at the bar for £25.00
How hot is the banya?
What are the benefits of Hot and Cold therapy?
For a deeper experience, try the parenie ritual — a traditional banya steam and leaf massage that enhances detoxification and relaxation.
A professional banshik expertly directs steam onto your body, deeply heating it for an unparalleled level of hot therapy and authenticity. Banshiki use multiple veniki (oak, birch, eucalyptus, clover, pine, and artemisia) creating a rich aromatherapy experience during the session. After your body is deeply warmed, your banshik guides you through the cooling process, which includes ice water buckets and an icy pool (6–8°C). Once complete, you feel energised and renewed.
